8/20/2025 -8/23/2025 | The Fifth Annual Heart of Texas Honky Tonk Festival will be held at the Ed Davenport Civic Center in Brady, Texas, on August 20-23. The event benefits the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum, which is a 501c3 non profit organization. Tickets are $30 per person per day and includes both band performances each evening. The event is BYOB and concessions are available. Tickets are on sale at www.heartoftexascountry. com or by calling (325) 597-1895. The Heart of Texas Welcome Party will be held on Wednesday, August 20, as The Kenaston Band will be performing from 6-10 p.m. at the TruCountry Hotel Ballroom in downtown Brady. The Welcome Party is a free event but donations are accepted. On Thursday, August 21, the Johnny Bush Tribute by Justin Trevino and Bush’s Bandoleros will perform from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. followed by Jeff Woolsey and the Dance Hall Kings from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Ed Davenport Civic Center. On Friday, August 22, Justin Trevino and Sharon Kenaston will be doing a Heart of Texas Facebook Live from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum. Landon Dodd & The Dance Hall Drifters then perform from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. followed by Jody Nix & The Texas Cowboys from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Ed Davenport Civic Center. On Saturday, August 17, a Heart of Texas Facebook Live Show will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. from the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum featuring Heart of Texas Recording Artist Jack Phillips and Shalane. The festival concludes on Saturday evening at the Ed Davenport Civic as the Brady Honeycutt Band performs from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and The George Dearborne & Branded close out the festival with a performance from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. “Our 2024 Heart of Texas Honky Tonk Fest was a huge success last year” Event Organizer Tracy Pitcox said. “We sold over 1,200 tickets and had fans from all over the country return back to the Heart of Texas to enjoy three days of great music from some of the best dance bands in the state of Texas.
