| 1/17/2024 | The 1st Quarter "GOOD NEWS" business luncheon, sponsored by Brady National Bank and presented by the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17th, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the TruCountry Inn Bluebonnet Ballroom. A catered meal will be provided. Tickets for the luncheon are $15 for members or $20 for future members and can be reserved online or contacting the Chamber office. Please reserve you & your staff's tickets no later than 5:00pm, on Monday, January 15th. We are pleased to have Brady National Bank sponsor our first quarter business luncheon of 2024. | 1/22/2024 | The Commissioners Court is the governing body of the county which consists of 5 elected representatives; The County Judge as the chairman and Four Commissioners. The Court is responsible for all budgetary decisions and setting the tax rate each year that is sufficient to fund the personnel, equipment and infrastructure necessary to deliver the services provided by the county. Each summer the Commissioners set the budget for the coming fiscal year. A series of workshops are held for the County elected officials and department heads to review their recommended budget with The Commissioners Court.
