| 4/7/2025 | The Commissioners Court is the governing body of the county which consists of 5 elected representatives; The County Judge as the chairman and Four Commissioners. The Court is responsible for all budgetary decisions and setting the tax rate each year that is sufficient to fund the personnel, equipment and infrastructure necessary to deliver the services provided by the county. Each summer the Commissioners set the budget for the coming fiscal year. A series of workshops are held for the County elected officials and department heads to review their recommended budget with The Commissioners Court. | 4/24/2025 | The Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce will host their annual award banquet & awards celebration "Betting on Brady" on Thursday, April 24th, at the Ed Davenport Civic Center. The award celebration is an opportunity for the Chamber to thank their members, celebrate successes of the past year, and recognize outstanding citizens that have made a difference in McCulloch County. Doors will open at 5:00pm and awards ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Event will be BYOB. The Chamber will recognize the following categories during the banquet: Distinguished Public Service, Outstanding Educator, Citizen of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, AgriBusiness of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and Outstanding Community Organization. Nomination Forms can be picked up at the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce office (106 W. Main) or you can fill out the form online at 2025 Chamber Banquet Nominations Nomination forms are due Friday, April 4th at 4:00pm. We are excited to once again present our annual silent auction at this years event. All proceeds go back to the chamber program of work to better serve & enhance our memberships.
